Certified legal translation by Al Waha refers to the official translation of important documents—such as birth and marriage certificates, academic transcripts, contracts, or patents—that has been formally verified as accurate and complete by a qualified professional or authorized legal entity. Documents issued outside the UAE and destined for the UAE

In such cases, the legal document must first be attested by the UAE Embassy in its country of origin (for example, a document issued in Italy must be attested by the UAE Embassy in Rome). Once the document reaches the UAE, it must then be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). After these attestations are completed, Al Waha’s certified translators will translate the document. We then affix our official stamp and signature to certify the accuracy of the translation, and, if required, submit the translated document to the UAE Ministry of Justice for final attestation.

Documents issued in the UAE and destined for foreign countries

Before translation, any legal document must first be signed and stamped by the UAE institution, organization, or private individual that issued it, as well as by the relevant legalization authority (e.g., the Notary Public or the Economic Department). The document must then be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and, if required, by the consulate or embassy of the country where it will be used. Once these steps are completed, Al Waha’s certified translators can translate the document, after which we affix our official stamp and signature to certify the accuracy of the translation.
